Where is your venue?
Our shows are held at the Norwich Gardens Amphitheater on the grounds of the Upper Valley Events Center in Norwich, Vermont (directly across from the Car Store Subaru Dealership and 400 yards south on Route 5 from the Hanover/Norwich Exit (#13) on Interstate 91). What is Upper Valley Presents?
Formed in January 2006, UV Presents is a non-profit company whose mission is to bring arts and educational programs to enrich the Upper Valley of NH and VT. UV Presents runs four programs - Open Air, Rock School, Summer Days Camp and Family Music classes. UV Presents is a Vermont nonprofit whose EIN is 71-0993579.

What is the budget and what are the underwriting targets for Open Air?
Each show costs about $2,500 to put on before artist costs. Sound & lights, promotion and venue account for this cost. Revenues from ticket sales cover two thirds of costs. The remainder is underwritten by partners who sponsor with in-kind donations to reduce costs or direct funding applied to artist, technical and venue costs. Underwriting of $2,500 per show is the average sought.

What are ticket prices?
Children 17 and under are free. Adult and "Family Tickets" that include admission for the entire family change based on the caliber of the artist.

Where do you get tickets?
Tickets are for sale at Hanover Strings, Norwich Wine and Spirits, King Arthur Flour, on line at www.uvpresents.org or at the Events Center box office, in person or online at this website.

Do all attendees picnic or can food be bought?
Half bring their own picnics and the other half buy their dinners in advance from local restaurants or stores. At certain shows local food and beverage vendors sell their wares.

What is a typical night’s schedule?
5:30 - 6:30 PM - sign in for season’s pass holders, sponsors and members of Upper Valley Presents, and ticket purchase for all others. Children investigate unique play structures and grounds while parents open up the picnic basket. For the shows geared for adult audiences, if there is an opening act it will appear from approximately 6 - 6:45 PM. Headline 7 PM start. Children under 17 are admitted free of charge. For shows geared for families, shows start promptly at 6 PM. Gates for all shows open 1/2 hour prior to the show.
